Today I created a fun freezer meal of Chicken Taco Soup to give to a family at my daughter's preschool whose mother fell and broke her leg. Freezer meals are perfect to bring to a family in need. They are easy to prepare and are stored in Ziploc bags, so are disposable.
To dress up the dull Ziploc bag and make the meal a little more special, I took inspiration from this weeks Heart 2 Heart Challenge Sketch.Since the bag topper was rectangle, I had to make a few adjustments. Can you see the inspiration?
I even added a smaller topper for the chocolate chip cookies too. I love how pretty the Stella Compliment Canvas shapes are. They add such a special touch to these simple projects.
I put the entire meal in a cheap Albertson's reusable bag to contain the meal in a nice compact package to deliver.

Amy, what a fun take on the sketch!
Great idea and your tags just add that special touch! TFS!
Very nice! And such a thoughtful gift too.
What a clever way to dress up your freezer meal. Whenever I am called upon to do a meal for someone, I'm always looking for something that will freeze easily. Love the meal, love the toppers!!
What a clever take on the sketch. Great meal idea and beautiful artwork! Thanks for joining us at Heart 2 Heart!
